Surf Nawalakw Lessons
Our surf day camps are your ticket to discovery and exhilaration!
Whether you’re 6 or 60, first-timer or looking to hone your skills,
we customize our lessons to your capabilities. Our lessons are an all day
adventure trip, with up to 5 hours of beach time and an hour of hiking through
spectacular temperate rainforest to the secluded beaches of the North Island.
Our lessons will give you the time to learn in a relaxed, natural environment
- free of the crowds.

Local Marine Ecology and Surf History

Our instructors are long-time North Island surfers, who are keen to get you stoked on the local wave energy. Instructors are trained to standards of the British Columbia Association of Surf Instructors and always come equipped with First Aid Kit, VHF radio, and satellite phone.

Day lesson - $149 per person (minimum 3 people)
Price includes surfboard, wetsuit, gloves & boots

Transportation to the trailhead is not provided in the lesson package. Travel from Port Hardy to the trailhead and back can be arranged on a “carpool” basis, which we recommend, to eliminate the hassle and cost on personal vehicles.
